How well is your brain actually working? Not how you feel -- but how you perform. Creyos cognitive testing gives you real numbers. It measures attention, memory, and processing speed so your provider can see exactly what is going on.
At ADHD One, we use Creyos testing to help track your progress and make better treatment decisions. It is quick, easy, and done right from your computer.
What Is Creyos Cognitive Testing?
Creyos is a set of short brain games that measure how well your brain works in key areas. It is not a quiz or a questionnaire. It is a real performance test that gives your provider objective data about your cognitive function.
Think of it like a fitness test for your brain. Just like a doctor checks your blood pressure or heart rate, Creyos checks your mental performance.
What Does It Measure?
Creyos tests several areas of brain function that ADHD affects the most:
Attention. Can you stay focused on a task without getting distracted? Creyos measures how well you concentrate and for how long.
Memory. Can you hold information in your head and use it? This includes short-term memory (remembering a phone number) and working memory (doing math in your head).
Processing speed. How fast can your brain take in information and respond? People with ADHD often feel "slow" even when they are smart. This test measures that gap.
Reasoning. Can you spot patterns and solve problems? This shows how well your brain handles complex thinking.
How Does It Work?
Get Your Link
Your provider sends you a secure link. You can take the test on any computer or tablet with an internet connection.
Play the Games
You complete a series of short brain games. Each one takes 1 to 3 minutes. The whole test takes about 15 to 20 minutes.
Review Your Results
Your provider gets a detailed report showing your scores compared to others your age. You review it together at your next appointment.
Why Creyos Matters for ADHD
Most ADHD care relies on how you feel. Your provider asks questions like "How is your focus?" or "Are you getting things done?" Those answers matter -- but they are subjective. Two people can describe the same problem in very different ways.
Creyos adds something different: real data. It gives your provider numbers they can compare over time. This helps answer important questions:
- Is your medication actually improving your focus, or does it just feel that way?
- Are you getting better in some areas but not others?
- Has your attention gotten worse since your last visit?
- Is a dose change making a real difference?
Without testing, your provider has to rely on your self-report alone. With Creyos, they get the full picture.
When Do We Use Creyos Testing?
Your provider may recommend Creyos testing at different points in your care:
At your evaluation. A baseline test before starting treatment shows where you are starting from. This makes it easier to measure progress later.
After starting medication. Testing a few weeks after starting or changing medication shows whether the treatment is working at a cognitive level -- not just based on how you feel.
At follow-up visits. Periodic testing helps track long-term progress. If your scores are improving, your plan is working. If they are not, your provider can adjust.
Is Creyos the Same as Neuropsychological Testing?
No. Traditional neuropsych testing takes 4 to 8 hours, costs $1,000 to $5,000, and often has a months-long waitlist. Creyos takes 15 to 20 minutes and focuses on the specific brain functions that matter most for ADHD management.
Creyos is not meant to replace a full neuropsych evaluation for complex cases. But for most ADHD patients, it gives your provider the data they need without the time and expense of traditional testing.
Real data. Better decisions.
Creyos cognitive testing takes 15 minutes and gives your provider objective data to guide your treatment. Ask about it at your next visit.

Can I take the test at home?
Yes. Your provider sends you a secure link. You can take Creyos on any computer or tablet with a web browser. Find a quiet spot, close other tabs, and give yourself about 20 minutes of uninterrupted time.
Is Creyos a diagnostic test for ADHD?
No. Creyos measures cognitive performance. It does not diagnose ADHD or any other condition. Your provider uses the results alongside a clinical check-up to understand how your brain is functioning and whether treatment is helping.
What if I do poorly on the test?
There is no passing or failing. Lower scores in certain areas simply give your provider useful information. If your attention score is low, for example, it confirms what you have been experiencing and helps guide treatment. That is the whole point.
How often should I take Creyos?
Your provider will recommend a schedule based on your treatment plan. Common intervals are at baseline (before medication), 4 to 6 weeks after starting medication, and every 3 to 6 months during ongoing care. More frequent testing may be recommended if your provider is adjusting your treatment.
Does insurance cover Creyos testing?
Creyos testing may be included as part of your overall care plan. Coverage varies by insurance provider. Your care team can help you understand any costs before you take the test.
Can children take the Creyos test?
Yes. Creyos is designed for ages 6 and up. The games are simple enough for children to understand, and results are compared against age-matched norms so your provider gets an accurate picture for your child's age group.
