Family & Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Ruby Ramos is a dual board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in family medicine and psychiatric mental health. She also holds a national certification in advanced diabetes management — a combination that gives her a unique understanding of how the body and mind affect each other. Ruby earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Charles Drew University, an academic partner of the UCLA School of Medicine. She later completed additional training as a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner through Herzing University. With more than 14 years of clinical experience spanning internal medicine, psychiatry, and chronic disease management, she brings a well-rounded perspective to every patient she sees. As Chief Clinical Training Officer at Top Tier Psychiatry, Ruby does more than treat patients — she helps shape how the entire care team delivers results. She works with children, teens, and adults dealing with ADHD, anxiety, mood disorders, and other mental health concerns. Her approach blends therapy, medication management, and personalized strategies tailored to each individual. She's not interested in one-size-fits-all solutions. Every plan she builds is grounded in evidence and designed around the person sitting in front of her. Ruby sees patients both in person and through virtual care across multiple states. She believes high-quality mental health support should be accessible — not limited by geography. Her care is built on empathy, respect, and a genuine belief that every person has the ability to heal and grow.
